St. Margaret’s R.C. Primary School
St Margaret’s is a Roman Catholic Primary located in South Queensferry, to the west of Edinburgh.
Our wide catchment includes Queensferry, Kirkliston and the surrounding area. We have six classes and 121 pupils.
We pride ourselves on our child-centred, nurturing environment where high expectations support children to develop a life-long love of learning. We are proud of our school motto, ‘Small school, big heart’ which reflects the inclusive culture of our school. Our school values of Honesty, Respect, Friendship and Never give up! are inspired by those of Pope Francis.
We recently celebrated the opening of our new state of the art sporting facilities with Archbishop Leo Cushley and the Vice convener of Education, Councillor Alison Dickie. Pupils and staff have also been invited by City of Edinburgh Council to become involved in a design project inspired by Professor Stephen Heppell. This exciting phase will see the redesign of five of our classes and communal spaces to create classrooms of the future!
Come and see for yourself what an exciting, nurturing environment St Margaret’s has to offer. We would be delighted to meet you.
Please enjoy reading through our website and witnessing some of the excellent work undertaken by our pupils.
